What people tell us
UK → South Africa (bank)
“I live in the UK and I needed to call my bank in South Africa. I used WorldDial and it worked flawlessly. I highly recommend it !”
One dialer. Personal or business.
WorldDial connects your browser to the telephone network so you can call real phones without a special app on the other end.
Personal calls
Banks, government offices, airlines, healthcare, family landlines, and Wi-Fi-only situations.
International business calls without a business phone system
Reach clients, partners, and official lines abroad from a browser. Outbound only, no seat licence.
Call your bank from abroad
Reach customer support when international calling from your phone is expensive.
Examples: Wells Fargo, Bank of America, HSBC, BNP Paribas, and other major banks.
Contact government services
Many agencies still require a real phone call, not chat or email.
Examples: IRS, Social Security, HMRC, tax offices, and local authorities.
Call airlines or travel services
Resolve urgent issues while you're away from home.
Examples: flight changes, lost luggage, hotel or booking problems.
Contact insurance or healthcare providers
Speak to your insurer, clinic, or hospital from anywhere.
Call family and friends internationally
Stay in touch without paying steep carrier roaming rates.
Make calls from WiFi only
No SIM card needed. All you need is an internet connection.

Why not just use WhatsApp?
WhatsApp only works when both sides use the app. Banks, airlines, and government offices do not.
They expect a normal phone call to a mobile or landline, that's what WorldDial is for.
Your mobile carrier may charge very high rates for international calls. WorldDial uses clear per-minute pricing you can check before you call.
If you're abroad or on a laptop, a browser call is often the fastest way to get through.
Check the rate before you call
See per-minute prices in the dialer and on our rates page. Prepaid credit only, no hidden subscription.
- Transparent per-minute rates

Léo Tréguer
I'm Léo Tréguer, the founder of WorldDial. I built it after struggling to reach a bank, a government office or even a restaurant abroad, when WhatsApp and Skype couldn't help.
